I called late in the evening, and the owner, Jon, assured me he would be out in 30 minutes. He arrived on time, and located the problem quickly. He got the unit running for the night, then came back in the morning to complete the repair. It was an expensive problem, but in the future, I won't trust anyone else with my AC work.
